Brief History

Having traveled and interacted with educational institutions and the academia himself, Dr. J.J. Unekwu, our esteemed proprietor was burdened with the passion of providing an educational system in towns and rural areas alike that could rival and compete with global counterparts. He understood what basic and standard education meant to children in the elementary, being a deposit from his engagements in missions and missionary schools in some parts of Africa. He made a vow to replicate this simplicity and standard form of education in his home country Nigeria.

On returning from his Master of Arts program at Kenya, he sold the vision to his wife, Mrs. Glory John Unekwu, who, herself, is an educationist with a PGD in Education, and the journey to establishing *ANIBE KIDDIES LAND* began.

It wasn't easy trying to do the abnormal thing, so their vision met its own setback but God paved a way out as always.

In the summer of 2022, that is, the month of August to be precise, the duo set out to start with holiday lessons for residents of the Labmina Hotel Road, at Anyigba in Kogi state. It was like almost free-of-charge, and the reception of the initiative was a welcome and encouraging one. A handful of parents brought in their wards or children and in just 1 month, God helped us to change the tongue of the children. Parents started trooping in with both testimonies and referrals who made enquirries for the September 2022 academic session. Most of our lesson children became our first fruits that registered and the referrals from far and near were all additions. We saw the hand of God involved in all things.

In preparation, Dr. & Mrs. J.J. Unekwu moved their only computer and solar station from their home just to make sure that pupils and students have the opportunity to interact with the computer withouts hindrances. They were bless with dedicated teachers, who themselves bought into the vision and helped to stabilize the school. They paid their sacrifices too.
